from the anthropological theorist Benedict Anderson:

"Nationalism" is the pathology of modern developmental history, as inescapable as neurosis in the individual, with much the same essential ambiguity attaching to it, a similar built-in capacity for descent into dementia, rooted in the dilemmas of helplessness thrust upon most of the world (the equivalent of infantilism for societies) and largely incurable."

"Infantile" is exactly the word that leaps to mind upon reading this post.

God always has a reason for what he does and what he allows. But is there more to your question/statment?

Jesus body was not left in a mass tomb. That is inconsistent with the action of those who opposed Jesus in those days. i.e. Why would the Jews accuse the apostles of stealing the body if they had allowed it to be thrown into a mass grave? They wouldn’t have. Therefore the mass grave option is not legit. We'll address more tomorrow.

As you read chapter 1 of "What every Christian Ought to know", you should read Daniel 5.

I assume when you mention 'the monkey thing' you are asking about evolution. My short response to that is hear, but I'll try to put together a more complete answer in the near future.

The idea that we descended from orangutans (monkeys in this case) is false. Yes, there are fossils that show that some species were similar in skeletal structure to humans. But there is nothing definitive to say that one day a human was born from something that wasn't. (this is overly simplistic, but figuratively accurate.)

The Bible tells us that we were created in Gods image. The question could be asked if God used something from another animal to make God. After all, it says that he used one of Adam's ribs to make Eve. But the answer is found in Genesis 2:7 when we read that God formed the man from the dust of the ground. So, yes, God used something to make the man. But it was not an orangutan. It was an act of His will.
